Four Square & Edinburgh Furniture Initiative Volunteer

Volunteer for Four Square and the Edinburgh Furniture Initiative.

Four Square is an Edinburgh charity supporting people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. They provide support, advice, accommodation and learning and training opportunities.

They run one the Edinburgh Furniture Initiative; where they re-sell donated furniture to support the charity and create volunteering and learning opportunities.

They also run the Four Square Park Café – serving affordable food and drink as well as providing another income stream to the charity. The café provides volunteering, training and employment opportunities for people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

Volunteer opportunities include:

• Painting, decorating, refurbishment and DIY
• Cooking, gardening, art and sharing of various skills and hobbies
• Office roles including admin, assisting the fundraising and marketing team
• Work in their furniture shop, helping us price items, load and unload our vans and serve customers
