Helping People from Ukraine

Wondering what you can do to help people from Ukraine?

Organisations are collecting donations of clothes, sleeping bags, etc for people arriving on the borders from Ukraine.

Bournemouth, Dorset

Drop off items at the Food Plus shop, 553 Christchurch Rd, Boscombe, Bournemouth BH1 4AH.

Deadline 4 March 2022, where they will then be transported to Poland and distributed to Ukrainian refugees.

Prepare the parcels in one package but separate the food from other items.

  • Thermal flasks
  • Milk powder
  • Canned food
  • Dry food
  • New or little used clothing, especially warm
  • Women’s and children underwear

  • SMALL tents
  • Any medical equipment, wound dressings etc

Also necessary, but less critical

  • Baby formula, including special needs formula
  • Sudocrem, nappy creams

  • Non-perishable food
