Spires

Spires is a South London based charity that helps hundreds of homeless and disadvantaged people all year round.

There are many items you can donate, including

• food
• clothes
• toiletries
• sleeping bags
• blankets

They also accept

• unwearable items / old clothes
• old sheets
• textiles/fabrics
  These will be sold to a recycling centre where they are turned into wiping rags or can be sold and processed back into fibres to make new products. Most fabrics are recyclable and textiles get a second (or third or fourth) life. It's better for the environment and is a way for Spires to get some additional income.
