The School Bank West Lothian
The School Bank West Lothian is a volunteer-led group aiming to improve the lives of children in families in West Lothian. They assist families experiencing financial hardship by providing them with a brand new school uniform and other clothing and equipment required for the school day.
The School Bank accept donations for ages 5 – 18 years old. This includes school uniform with school logos on for all West Lothian Schools. The range of clothing and items you can donate is wide and varied.

Rag Bag
Any poorer quality items of clothing can also be donated and recycled in our rag bag box (this can include adult clothing). This generates cash for The School Bank West Lothian which is used buy brand new stock that they need.

The uniforms are distributed by referral from organisations working with families. The School Bank West Lothian does liaise directly with families. They accept referrals from professionals in the community such as Head Teachers, Social Workers, Housing Officers, Womens Aid, Health Visitors and other agencies including West Lothian Council, Citizens Advice Bureau, Homestart and the Advice Shop in Bathgate.
