Summer’s over and you may be wondering what to do with the summer clothes, toys and equipment you no longer want to keep?
You could:
- Sell your items through websites such as Preloved, ebay, Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree and Vinted
- Donate items to your local charity shop
- Give away items to your local community on Freecycle or Freegle
There are some items, such as wetsuits, inflatables and swimwear, that may seem more difficult to get rid of but it is possible to either re-wear, upcycle or even recycle and repurpose these items into something else! For example, your punctured inflatable pool toy could become a new bag or your swimwear could be recycled and repurposed into eco-carpet underlay.
